The Alice Springs Steiner School is seeking a creative and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our Cassia Transition program.

The Alice Springs Steiner School is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher for one of our Cassia Transition classes to commence immediately (or by negotiation for the right applicant). New graduates are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will be interested in undertaking training and mentoring in Steiner Early Childhood Education.
Our Transition room is a beautiful, home-like environment with a Steiner, play-based program for children in the years they turn 5 and 6 years old.
About the school:
The Alice Springs Steiner School is located 10 minutes from the town of Mparntwe / Alice Springs at the foothills of the Tjoritja ranges. The school is established, having begun in 1996, with classes from Playgroup to Middle School. We have an enthusiastic, active, and highly involved parent community and a collegial teacher group who are motivated by sincere love and respect for our students. The school has over 200 students enrolled, and it provides a strong mentorship program for teachers in a supportive environment.

Qualifications:
The applicant must be able to register with the NT Teacher Registration Board (TRB),?and?provide a current?Ochre Card, Police Check?and?First Aid Certificate?(or be able to provide these prior to the contract start date).

The Alice Springs Steiner School offers generous relocation assistance ($5000) if the successful applicant is located outside of the Northern Territory.
